No less than the District Governor of RI District 3850 Renier “Prince” Gerochi, inducted 5 all-female new members to the Rotary Club of Roxas Membership. They were Ana Moyer, Che-che Lastimoso, Erin Dowe, Louvelle Licanto and Leah del Rosario.
The induction was held at the MVW Restaurant during the Joint District Governor’s Address to the 3 Rotary Clubs of Roxas City last September 21. The sponsors of the baby Rotarians were also awarded with sponsor pins by DG Prince. This is in connection with the RI Presidents campaign of bringing in at least 1 member per year.
With the addition of the all-female new members to the club, it seems that girl-power is definitely catching up in the club membership. This makes the club’s female member total to eight, which is about one-third of the total club membership.
