The Rotary International, through the efforts of Past District Governor Toto Locsin, sent various materials for the Day Care Centers adopted by the Rotary Club of Roxas. This includes 30 sets of school chairs and desks, two 21-inch colored TV, two DVD players, black and white boards, filing cabinets, teacher's desk and chair, encyclopedias and other reading materials, etc. This was PGD Toto’s promise to PP Mel Deslate as part of his advocacy of promoting literacy in the countryside through the day care centers.
These materials will be turned over to the day care centers as soon as the infrastructures and the memorandum of agreement have been put in place.
