October 15-21 is Boys and Girls Week

October 15-21 has been declared by the City Government as Rotary Club of Roxas’ Boys and Girls Week. Twenty qualified 4^th year students of the different private and public schools in the city will be given a chance to sit as city officials for one whole week. They will also be given a chance to participate during the city’s weekly legislative session.

On October 12, a preliminary examination will be given to various students from different schools to screen the top 20 who will sit as city officials. This will be followed by an interview on October 13 to ascertain their respective positions in the city government.

Below is the schedule during the Boys and Girls Week Celebration:

Day 1 (October 15)

9AM Installation of Boys and Girls Officials at the Seminar Room, City Hall

2PM Leadership Training c/o Rotarian Ana and Erin


Day 2 (October 16)

9AM Interview at Budyong Kapihan

10AM Tour of the various ongoing projects and programs of the city government

Lunch at DPWH Office

Day 3 (October 17)

8AM Session Coaching c/o PP Mark Ortiz and Rotarian Vice Mayor Ronnie Dadivas

Lunch with Rotarians at Mang Inasal, Gaisano MarketPlace

2PM Mock Session

Day 4 (October 18)

Regular City Session
